-Meditation is the practice of nonresistance. -Meditation is the practice of unconditional love
for your surroundings. -Meditation is the practice of meshing with
everything around you and resistance to nothing. Even simpler, meditation is the practice of eyes
closed allowing.. While most have noise and lots of activity in their
heads (which COREresonance is very good for clearing), most try to push
away or resist the noise.. Better instead to allow the noise and find that
quiet part of you just beyond. And as you find that quiet part of you,
the noise will subside.. Many use mantras or tones or music to give the mind
something to do while you find that quiet spot.. The only interesting thing is that you do not find
the quiet spot with the mind. By becoming quiet, the quiet finds you! For many years, I described meditation as the
process of listening to the Universe with the nervous system. It is still a good description if we can put the
mind aside. The mind has no use – though many cannot imagine life
without it. The mind is unnecessary.
All of my recent writing is
about nonresistance and what occurs at that point.. The mind begins to
go away..
As we learn how to re-enable
our connection with Innate Intelligence, Innate Guidance becomes
available. Innate Guidance replaces the mind.
And when we understand that the brain is
insufficient to process our surroundings (our five senses only translate
about 1 percent of our surroundings), we begin to let go.. As we learn how to let Innate Guidance become
predominant, the mind disappears. Interestingly,
the mind is associated with resistance and resistance is not what we
need. (As the mind goes away, time goes away.
Resistance, the mind and time are one and the same.) Best to say, our natural state is an intact
connection with Innate Intelligence providing all of the insight into
moving through our lives with synchronicity, happenstance, Divine
Order, etc. But when we severed this connection with Innate
Intelligence (about the time the church became predominant 2000 years
ago), the brain began to process its surroundings on its own.. and it
simply doesn't have the horsepower to do it.. so it set up the mind as a
repository of automated and habitual and reactionary patterns and
responses.. Our lives are on hold, on automatic, while our
connection with Innate Intelligence is impaired. As long as the brain tries to process our
surroundings, it is on overload and the static and noise becomes greater
and greater. Sometimes we just need to come to a stop and
investigate the quiet. It is in the quiet that we begin to re-enable
our connection with Source. But of course, the mind cannot be the tool that gets
us there.. Intention maybe, but not the mind.. Mind and focus and
resistance have to be put aside. So, for the short run, meditation is allowing the
noise; to discover that all it is is noise and become familiar with the
noise in the brain to discover that it is not you. And while many have discovered that we are not the
body, most have not discovered that we are not the mind, nor are we the
brain and we are certainly not the noise.. Actually, we are
awareness.. But you begin by allowing the noise in the brain
(this becomes nonresistance and Unconditional Love for yourself..) And
then as you understand the noise is not you.. You begin to adventure into the quiet. It is in the
quiet that you begin to become in touch with your Innateness.. Meditation is the process of going past the noise,
not by fighting it or pushing against it or diverting it, but by
allowing it. And it is in allowing that you begin to get it right
and meditation becomes available to you. Thus the quiet and your
connection with Innate Intelligence allows you to discover awareness. Of course this is what COREresonance is all about.
Rapidly enhancing one's connection with Innate Intelligence such that
Innate Guidance becomes available and the mind subsides.. We all have to let go to go within.. we simply have
to go past the mind to get there..

Welcome to the May 2009 Issue of Vision.. Feliz Día de las Madres!!!! Happy Mother's Day!
Big Changes Afoot.. The Law of Attraction and Nonresistance And it is in the nonresistance of each other that we fulfill our purpose, and inadvertently dovetail and complete for others what they don't address for themselves.. In nonresistance the world is a better place.. - J.Hamilton I get the most interesting insights in the shower! Why? I guess because we are by ourselves, maybe it is early in the day and maybe we are still between our sleep and work-a-day worlds. In my case, I still had my clothes on because I was hanging new lighting and what was occurring to me was that in nonresistance I do what I am driven to do; I do what I am compelled to do and basically I do what I want to do - and I do it mindlessly. I do it without the "I". And interestingly, with everybody mindlessly contributing, everything gets done. Nobody is left out, nobody is left behind, there is plenty for everyone and inadvertently, everybody is silently, unintentionally, everybody else's keeper. What makes "doing what I want to do" so interesting, is that I am not doing what "I" want to do from the egocentric perspective of the mind, but a much more interesting part of me - the part of me that is timeless, the part of me that is whole, the part of me that doesn't have to sort things out. And without knowing it, I am merging, meshing and synchronizing with every other living thing and contributing to every other living thing. What I am compelled to do is simply march to my own internal drummer; to follow my nose and end up in the right place at the right time - time and time again. Yesterday (050609), I was on my way to Santa Monica from Ojai which is about a 75 mile trip each way to get new business cards and order some vinyl stickers for business. I had a price quote and art work for the cards and I needed the art work and quote for the stickers in Santa Monica on the edge of huge Los Angeles. A trip like this definitely has its good points, but a couple of hours each way, lunch, a little traffic here and there, and the next thing you know, the day is done. And, I have to do the trip twice. Instead, on my way out of town, I stopped by a little shop I had driven by several times that said "publishing" on the front of the building. I did not know what I would find inside except, following my nose, doing what I was very subtly compelled to do, I stuck my nose past the reflective glass door. (Can you interpret the sentence without the egocentric "I" mind?) And what greeted me besides the strong smell of soy-based ink? A full blown printing company with designers, printing presses, etc. I had inadvertently stumbled into a print shop walking distance from my house that could do it all. Interestingly, one of the first things I discovered beside the fact they could do the same business card for half the price, was that I had forgotten my wallet. When I reached for a business card card for the receptionist, I discovered I was heading into the BIG city sans wallet, credit cards, driver's license, etc. This alone was a huge discovery and benefit to this unexpected local stop but another was the personalized service sitting with the guy doing my art work later that afternoon. We did it all in 25 minutes! I walked away from the first meeting repeatedly stating WOW! to myself. I would have been in a real bind to get to Santa Monica to discover I had forgotten my wallet! This was huge alone. Better prices was great, personalized services was really great, walking distance from the house was another, but not having to make the two trips was huge! Same thing on my 2nd meeting that same day. Under my breath afterward, after witnessing the continued scale of the order, I kept saying.. WOW! WOW! So, the question is, "How did I find this print shop that so capably addressed my needs?" Was it via the phone book, or a newspaper ad, or the Internet, or trusty Google, or the referral of a friend? Nope. None of the above. Would you say I was guided there, might you say I was following my nose, or might you say I had a clear intention about what I wanted and in nonresistance, I readily became a match for what I needed? Dropped me right at the front door of a company with a somewhat cryptic identity! The Law of Attraction and nonresistance is interesting stuff! Speaking of nonresistance and landing in the right place at the right time, I notice astrology is fantastically accurate in my life now. Too bad there is no "I" to gloat over "my" newfound way in the world, but I find that in nonresistance, not only does the world take on a huge new sense of order and completeness but I am in far more in sync with my surroundings. This is similar to being part of a school of fish or a flock of birds. My world now moves with me; I now move with my world. There is no fighting, there is no "what if," there is no resistance, there are no claims. Everything I need is simply right there - or becomes there as I "allow" and give up the time factor.. And the whole thing is orchestrated by an overall scheme identified by the tuggings and influences of the planets and heavenly spheres - and in an order that knows no bounds. I might as well be part of a symphony orchestra. Everyone is playing, everyone knows where they are in the music and everyone understands where they are going. They may be unaware of each other, but everyone is driven by a similar common theme. The director is directing, the music carries us along and it never ends. As we quit fighting and resisting what we don't want, our apparent and right track is simply "right there." And because we are part of a much larger whole, we find that we inadvertently contribute to each other's lives. We don't necessarily know what we do for each other and we don't have to know because once we give up the "I", once we discover nonresistance, the world become a synchronous place and in each our contribution, the puzzle pieces snap into place with a satisfying snap. Unconditional Love © J.Hamilton 2007 As we become aware of the Law of Attraction, we realize how much of our reality creating is a matter of our habitual and reactionary patterns. It turns out we are walking and talking "resistance to what we don't want" reality creators and because of our new awareness of the Law of Attraction, we wish to stop doing what we don't want to do anymore. Only problem is, trying to stop doing what we don't want brings us more of what we don't want. "Damn" that Law of Attraction." Yes, the Law of Attraction seems to be everywhere. It is associated with our thoughts and our feelings and our beliefs and our values, and our realities then ensue. It latches on to our emotional focus, such that what we fear and actively resist is even more powerfully catalyzed. Now we seem to have the disadvantage of knowing how very much our negative thinking contributes to our reality creating. After all, we are dealing with immutable law. "Damn" that Law of Attraction." On the other hand, once we start to get it right, we have made an immeasurable step in the right direction. Something about out of the contrast of what we don't want helps us to get clear about what we do want and thus the Law of Attraction kicks in that way too! And, it turns out the solution is as old as dirt, so to speak. It is the foundation of many of the lessons that have survived into the 21st century taught by sages, prophets and poets of ages past, reminding us to love our enemies, love our neighbors (as ourselves) and otherwise something about Unconditional Love being the epitome of what we strive for in our lives, and for good reason. It turns out the only way to escape what we don't want, the only way to neutralize what we don't want is to love it. Plain and simple. This was the lesson of the great teachers of our past. Love and acceptance of what is. "Turn the other cheek," and "love your enemies," i.e., your thoughts! Loving what you have in front of you is the only way to escape what you have in front of you! It is in the dichotomy of loving what is; allowing what you already have that you begin to escape the thoughts and focus that limit you. It is only by loving what you have that you free up your energy to focus on what you wish to have. Very interesting stuff! A visionary is someone who learns from their past (contrast), releases (loves) the present and holds a vision for what they wish to have in their lives - all the while allowing it to turn out better! As the emotional debris of our lives frees up, we become able to better identify our partnership with Innate Intelligence for which we now have internal Guidance as insight for our better choices and decisions. It is a good partnership. We can begin by being thankful for the contrast that brought us to this point in the first place. Gratitude and acceptance are very close to the same thing. Namasté
