..Imagine that the Universe Has Always Been There…

If only we were to understand the part resistance plays in our lives!  If only we were to understand the part that fear and doubt plays in our lives!  If only we were to realize that our personalities are comprised of what we don't know about ourselves, would we begin to get a truer picture of ourselves. 

Somehow we developed skins, personalities if you will, to keep the Universe out.  Yes, we developed perspectives and armoring based on fear and doubt to keep our potential from being expressed.  Why?  Because we are afraid of the unknown.  We are afraid of how big we really are.  We are afraid of our potential.  Not so different from the creatures in the bottom of the Crystal River in Richard Bach's Illusions, we are afraid to let go and become more.  But because of our increasing awareness of the size and order of the Universe, i.e., the amount of consciousness that can be perceived and estimated, we suddenly have a hint of how much bigger things are than we imagined.  Because we are made of the same "stuff" but clothed in our mistaken beliefs and values taught to us by a world that knows no better, we express but a glimmer of our potential.   

It is in our delving within, that final and fateful journey within; that journey beyond resistance and fear and doubt to what we don't understand, that we recognize our possibilities and begin to shine like we never could shine before.  Once we begin that ascent (descent?) to our potential, we begin to realize that we are far more than just "ourselves."  We recognize that we have an inner mechanism that is always available to us.  As we move past fear and doubt and learn of something to rely on bigger than ourselves, we discover an aspect of ourselves that has been bottled up for quite some time – but it has always there. 

As we discover that we have an inner mechanism that all other living things attune to, do we finally allow ourselves the guidance that every other living enjoys and prospers by.  Make no mistake about it.  Every living thing is connected to every other living thing by Innate Intelligence – a messaging, connecting and guidance system so vast that everything that is known or every will be known is accessible – and far more.  As we make that final journey within, we will tap that which will make us truly successful.  And, as always has been the case, some a bit sooner than others.

Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river. The current of the river swept silently over them all - young and old, rich and poor, good and evil, the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.
Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current what each had learned from birth.
But one creature said at last, 'I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go, and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.'
The other creatures laughed and said, 'Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!'
But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks
Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.
And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, 'See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the Messiah, come to save us all!'
And the one carried in the current said, 'I am no more Messiah than you. The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure.'
But they cried the more, 'Saviour!' all the while clinging to the rocks, and when they looked again he was gone, and they were left alone making legends of a Saviour.

The iPhone, Smart Cards

and the New Economy

If it hasn't yet begun to sink in, we are watching the existing centralized authoritarian model of leadership, not only falter but fail.  We are watching the centralized banking system, held up by the housing market fail, we are watching the centralized carbon-based economy based on cheap petroleum fail and we are seeing huge cracks in the capacity of centralized human leadership to lead utterly fail.  This economy, based on the war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on cancer, the war on spam, the war on poverty, the war on obesity, the war on (fill in the blank) and dependant on cheap petroleum is gasping – not so different from what we always expected but never really knew how to plan for.  A dysfunctional economic model based on scarcity - beyond creaking and groaning, beyond cracks in its foundation; a system begging for change, is about to change.. 

[Note: The existing economic model has to fail to make way for a new model; a model driven by solutions, win-win, alignment with what is true, as well as solar, hydrogen and other decentralized energy sources culminating in humanity once again spiraling toward its own worth, potential and prosperity.]   

I have recently been introduced to a glimpse of a technology that moves us away from our dependence on the above economic scenario and allows individuals to become immune to the gyrations and death rattle of old top-heavy authoritarian models becoming obsolete in the early part of the 21^st century.  Technology that allows individuals to communicate among themselves, allows financial transactions to occur without centralized models and allows personal information to again become the domain of one's private property. 

This is manifesting as personal communications devices and smart cards (i.e., the 3G iPhone and privately issued smart/debit cards) that will continue to interface with the system but are capable of leaving the system behind as it crumbles ever further.  Imagine a business owner who pays staff over the Internet from the company smart card/debit card directly to your smart card/debit card – bypassing the ancient, top heavy, centralized banking system altogether.  Instead of the bank being the middle point of the transaction with its attendant fees and latency, the Internet becomes the intermediary, you are the beneficiary and the transactions are instant.   

At the cusp of the 21st century, we are becoming accustomed to sharing information (email, text messaging, publishing websites, VoIP, Google searches, etc.,) instantly, globally and practically without cost.  And now, financial transactions are becoming available for which the infrastructure is contained within the card system and the Internet itself!  Closer in your rear view mirror than you think, the once feared computer chip and debit card, issued beyond the centralized authority model, becomes your best friend and saving grace. 

This system allows you to earn, not only a kickback on your transactions, but participation in shared revenues driven by others using the card – which may become everybody.  Not a multileveled structure in any sense of the word, instead a quantum structure that allows rewards fees to grease the whole thing.  Imagine the standard fee structure of debit cards paying for the entire infrastructure with money left over.  In other words, your spending habits pay for the system in which we all share - with no middle-man in sight.  PayPal, for example, an Internet-based debit card system, charges as much as 3.5 percent for incoming transactions (not so unreasonable) and returns 1.5 percent for outgoing transactions. 

This new technology/card system is similar and can do better!  Features include:

1.     A superior blend of bankcard bonus points, profit sharing and rewards access card services;

2.     Complete credit and debit-card features in VISA® and MasterCard® format;

3.     An integration of discount coupons, incentives, loyalty rewards, gift certificates, cash rebates and affiliate marketing income generation for all users;

4.     An artificial intelligence system that searches the best pricing in real-time translating into meaningful buying assistance for consumers; 

5.     Consistently creates new consumer continuity reward programs.

Imagine being able to transfer money from encrypted smart card to encrypted smart card with the Internet as the only intermediary.  Smart cards with practically unlimited storage and encryption second to none for privacy and linked to a personal communications device, i.e., the iPhone, offering a win-win scenario for individuals wishing to become autonomous and private.  This smart card in the hands of the private sector offers unparalleled privacy in transactions and purchases, money transfers, savings, discounts and rewards, and information privacy. 

And, what does it cost?  Nothing.  It pays you!  The rollout of this technology coincides with the Beijing Olympics on August 08, 2008 (given as a free debit card to every spectator/guest).  You can also enroll in this program at no cost.  Presently, what is needed is proper identification because this card is identified with you - and you alone.  (Questions about identification?  Contact me.)
