Speaking of consciousness.. I have been listening to Dr. David R. Hawkins, MD, PhD in some of the archival digital recordings and it is interesting to put our collective conscious evolution into some sort of perspective. Humanity has been rapidly moving toward becoming a conscious species – much more rapidly than maybe we have noticed. There seems to be no doubt about it. And, while we have wars and famine and genocide and poverty, we also have huge successes as the true and silent leadership portion of the species quietly and steadily unfolds its progress.
My point and Dr. David Hawkins point? Humanity is very rapidly rushing toward conscious awareness and all of the huge benefits this entails. Do you realize the scale of expansion that humanity has experienced in the past 50 years? (Have you driven a 1960's vintage automobile lately?) According to Dr. Hawkins, it was in 1987 (around the time of the Harmonic Convergence – a full 20 years ago!) that humanity (as a whole) suddenly achieved a measure of over 200 on Dr. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness scale. 207 to be exact; representing the true emergence of humanity's movement beyond reactionary thinking and into more useful modes of expressing itself. In 1987, humanity began what will come to be seen as an even more exponentially rapid rise toward a new consciousness, awareness, prosperity and capacity for problem solving. It is a very interesting time we are living in. Our evolution is moving so fast we don't even realize how far we have come in just our own lifetime. Slowly and more rapidly, fear and doubt, once the primary catalyst for our choices and decision making is being replaced by courage and the higher octaves of consciousness including neutrality, acceptance, reason, joy, and unconditional love. It is in this new unbridled capacity for choice initially powered by courage that humanity is rapidly redefining its capacity to evolve.
[Con't] Will humans become more? Sure they will. Will humans solve their problems, even the insurmountable problems? Sure they will. The question becomes, as we become more conscious and more self-aware, will we learn how to address our problems more efficiently and more effectively? The old way was to fight what was wrong and resist what we didn't want and it seemingly worked just fine. But is that the way it really works? Is that the best way? Maybe it was solutions born out of the contrast of problems that actually drove our species to better success. Maybe this is how we get where we are going. Maybe solutions paved the way! The question then becomes where do solutions come from and how to we, as an up-and-coming intentional species learn to access them? After all, solutions don't seem to grow on trees or get discovered on dusty shelves or found in old books. (Newsletters maybe! : ) As we become more conscious; as we become more aware of how the world works, including the realization that what we focus on expands and that pushing against (reactionary posturing) is also focus, don't we begin to wonder if we are taking best advantage of our god-given equipment? And, speaking of god-given equipment, what is our god-given equipment? Besides the ability to know the difference between right and wrong as a gut feeling, or the ability to accept insight as intuition or creativity, or the ability to be the recipient of a solution? Ever notice how a solution is not a direct (linear) extension of studying a problem? That very oftentimes solutions comes from an entirely different perspective than the problem itself? And that maybe the study of a problem only causes one to focus more on the problem? Don't solutions show up when we relax or wake up the next morning or put our minds on something different? What if we knew the end result of any problem was the solution, and instead of attuning to the problem, we learned to attune to the solution? Duh? What if we left the problem out of the equation and simply became solution oriented? What if the old way, the slow way of doing things catalyzed by fear and doubt, became obsolete as we moved to a solution orientation? What if all we had to do was to have the courage to look at things differently and use our god-given equipment more effectively? What if it turns out the Universe is actually driven by solutions and it is just a matter of aligning with the octave that the Universe expands from and learn how to tap solutions directly and intentionally. In other words, setting our sights a little bit differently? What if how we set our sights is a product of attuning our nervous system and mustering a bit of courage to do things differently?
Our capacity to evolve requires that we go beyond pushing against, i.e., the dense reactionary thinking that shuts us down to what our nervous system is capable of delivering. Once we move past reactionary and retaliatory patterns of thinking and learn to become quiet and discern, we discover the Universe has an endless dialogue of solutions available to us. After all, how do you think the Universe unfolds? By stopping and studying problems it encounters, or simply continuing to expand powered by intention and a solution orientation. How do you get from one side of the city to the other in your automobile? Do you stop and solve all of the problems that might get in your way, or do you hold a vision/intention of where you want to go and simply get there? Me? I am scanning the heavens and my earthly surroundings (with my nervous system, similar to a sieve catching minnows) looking for simple solutions for such things as clean air and fuel efficiency. I know it is there. Probably just a matter of changing one atom of one something-or-other, or reversing the spin of an electron on another something-or-other is all that it is going to take.. Our nervous system is our connection with Source and by definition Source is where we find our solutions. If you want to work on a real problem, consider working on cleaning up your nervous system and your access to Innate Intelligence. I have since read most of his books, and recently I moved on to Laurence Gardner who might be likened to Graham Hancock on steroids. Gardner offers a very high quality scholarly perspective and though he a bit more difficult to read than Hancock, he is well worth the effort!

Most of the new digital telephone companies (Vonage, Verizon, Packet8 and the other dozens of digital upstarts) provide lower cost services and arrive via VoIP which simply means your telephone service is now routed over the Internet instead of telephone lines. Interestingly, this wasn't initiated by the phone companies but probably some young kid on a college campus somewhere. For example, in my new apartment, I do not have traditional telephone service other than my cell phone. (Wait! Traditional telephone service now means a cell phone? Do you see how fast we are moving?) Instead, I use Skype for my incoming and outgoing calls - local and long distance. I can call anywhere in the world, to landlines almost anywhere in the world for about two cents a minute, and to other Skype users for free. Do you see how technology is evolving/emerging as humanity continues to evolve? It will turn out that technology is our best friend! Do we think we are going to have a Soylent Green (movie) future just because of someone's dysfunctional perspective about the future? I do not think that is a possibility - at all. Nope.. The cost of communicating with the rest of the planet is moving toward free or very close to free. Now-a-days, you can have clients/relationships anywhere in the world. Between the Internet, email and now picking up a digital phone, anybody can be in touch with anybody and share solutions with anybody else. This is where we are going as a species. Communications is moving toward unlimited. And, ultimately, as humanity moves toward its solutions, we will see innovation quickly redefine the cutting edge with communications being right up there at the top. The higher vibration of a solution orientation is going to simply overrun the old because fear and doubt doesn't have much staying power. You can count on it. I don't pay much more than $60 a year for my incoming phone number, voice mail, local service, unlimited long distance to the US and Canada and extremely inexpensive rates to the rest of the world. The latest innovation is a USB (to RJ11) Adaptor that allows me to use a traditional telephone handset (and speakerphone!) with Skype. Skype has been known as a free "headset and microphone plugged into the computer" method of communicating but that is changing fast.. And, did I mention the quality of the call? It is much better than landline calls and so much better than cell phone calls. With a headset and microphone, it seems you are in the same room with the person you are talking to, no matter whether they are in Moscow, Guadalajara or just down the street. California Dreamin'
Huge changes for me! I just moved to Los Angeles and I absolutely love it here! I love the people, the culture and the weather. The sun is mild, the weather idyllic, and the people seem far more conscious than any other place I have ever been! There must be something to the "California Dreamin' lifestyle I've always heard about. And while there is traffic and parking has become an art form, the quality of life from a consciousness perspective readily overshadows the seeming drawbacks. I was somewhere taught that as we get more crowded into the big cities that we will turn on each other like rats in a cage, but I haven't see it here. In fact, I didn't see it on recent trip to Manhattan either. I found a surprising amount of kindness in the canyons (tall buildings and city streets) that is Manhattan and I find the same thing here. As people are squeezed together they seem to become a little more allowing of each other and become their brother's keeper just a bit more. I see a great deal of politeness and friendliness from total strangers.. Of course, almost everybody is a stranger..
It is wonderful to become part of a very "functional" church/alignment of people willing to practice what they preach. For example, I just joined a group within Agape that facilitates small groups that meditate all over Los Angeles. Astounding to see what people can accomplish in love and an awareness that you can give more than you can keep.. If you are interested, you can join the AgapeLive Online Community and lend your essence to something that is "very good!"
I would put this well ahead of Disneyland or Universal Studios "to see the shark*," on your next visit to Los Angeles. Frankly, I would fly in to catch several of the Sunday services, maybe even the Sunday evening service and then fly home with a realization that all is "weller" than "the whisperings of neighbors" might have you think.. *Quote taken from the film "Get Shorty." [Con't] The octave that Michael so consistently teaches from is astounding and happily coincides with my interpretation of who and what we are. It has become my opinion that we, as humans with nervous systems second to none, are the most sophisticated vessels for Innate Intelligence to express itself. Once we get past the "I" of our identity and recognize ourselves as the expression of Innate Intelligence expressing "itself" through us, then we are truly able to flower into our potential. I have some interesting thoughts that might have you scratchin' your noggin if you want to see the difference between how you might perceive yourself and what might be a more real interpretation of the real you.. PS I am just again beginning to offer individual consulting. I work with flat rates and I am not inexpensive but I do produce results. I did personal consulting for about 10 years and stopped in 2001 about the time I began to write my book . So, of all things, I moved from Sedona and now live on Wilshire Blvd, 18 stories up overlooking Los Angeles to the east. Not only are the city lights beyond description as evening progresses, but on my first night, the full moon rose over downtown Los Angeles like a symbol of something that reminded me I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. It is marvelous to see the sunrise every morning and to be only 3 miles from the ocean. Not bad for a visionary.. Introducing the Science of Receptivity
OUT of the work of VisionariesLabs comes a whole new science and teaching that I call the Science of Receptivity. The ultimate purpose of the Science of Receptiv-ity is to bring individuals into a refined resonance and connection with the Cosmos. As you may know our inner guidance is built-in and only needs to be dusted off and tuned-up, so to speak. And when we come to a substantial understanding of the Law of Attraction combined with our innate guidance system, we become nonlinear - quantum if you will, dynamic and very rapidly I believe, whole human beings. Ultimately, everybody would love to function at a higher level of efficiency with solutions at their fingertips, synchronicities at their every step and resonance pouring from their eyes, and soon this is to be the case as we even more quickly evolve to our possibilities with the tools of the 21st century.
Because humans, with their sophisticated nervous systems, seem to have been dropped a time or two (similar to dropping a Steinway piano a couple of times), we have become out of tune with our connection and inadvertently given up access to much of our internal guidance. But when we balance our nervous system and come to a more useful understanding of the Law of Attraction we have a very powerful mechanism from which to leap forward. As we recover our innate system of guidance, we come to the door of infinite possibilities. Ultimately, everything we need is a matter of receiving. I call this the Science of Receptivity. The Law of Attraction has become quite the buzz lately thanks to Abraham-Hicks, the movie The Secret and so many others and rightfully so. But most of us don't yet know how to use it in other than a linear manner and therefore use it quite haphazardly and even recklessly. After all, we are all pretty powerful, and though we are shut off from our innate guidance and our priorities are askew, we continue to strive to do better every day. What has become increasingly obvious is that most of the reality creating on this planet is a product of using the Law of Attraction backwards. In other words, much of our reality creating is based on 1) pushing against what we don't want (resistance is focus), or 2) choosing what we want based on what we don't want.* If, according to the Law of Attraction what we focus on expands, and human beings inadvertently broadcast even the tiniest amount of fear and doubt or resistance as part of their 24-hour-a-day outgoing prayer and broadcast, they are going to experience exactly what they put out - dysfunctional reality creating. How do we know if we create our realities by resistance? After all, if we are cooking along, our Mercedes payments are kept up, we have a nice home and family, good job, security, etc., what else is there? Resistance is defined as any level of not allowing the total, entire good that the Universe has for you to come through you. If you are in any manner shut off from your highest good, resistance is holding you back. [Con't] Reality creating is a product of our focus, yes, but when we realize that we are too dysfunctional to know what we truly want because we are out of touch with our innate guidance system, it is imperative that we learn more about this process. It is in the releasing of the resistance through unconditional love that our guidance becomes ever more available, ultimately allowing the Universe to flow through us unimpeded. Yes, when we are without resistance, the Universe flows through us into this dimension for which we become much more useful to ourselves and others. I call this "usefully influential." We become our true potential which is far beyond having our ducks in a row and our finances in order. And, by the way, Innate Intelligence flowing through you feels pretty damn good! Resistance, as a product of fear and doubt, closes us off from the free-flowing interface that we must have if we are to have true success in our lives. Unconditional love is the opposite of resistance, ultimately identified as allowing, and allows us to make a shift to guidance that exceeds anything our linear mind will ever produce. Unconditional love is something that can be learned and achieved in degrees through practice. Visionaries Thrive In All Times identifies and teaches a grounded interpretation of Unconditional Love which is also the purpose of the Science of Receptivity. The work then is to open the gates to allow Universal Forces to flow through you unimpeded to bring you true success.. It turns out you are whole and complete. Resistance and fear and doubt have long been the foundation of our caution and safety, but are rapidly becoming obsolete as we discover the safety and security that our connection with Innate Intelligence makes available to us. The richness of letting go with eyes-wide-open brings us to a doorway and a whole new, exponential and nonlinear way of being. A world woven together in partnership with Innate Intelligence evidences itself as effortless guidance, sublime comfort and security, happenstance and synchro-nicities, and brings a new depth of living to you and those you touch. It turns out there is an indescribable world of beauty, harmony, resonance and huge gifts of wholeness to be found just beyond resistance. Resistance is a gift to be turned inside out. We are all connected to something so subtle and so fine and so real, that once we identify it, we gravitate toward it like the ocean to the moon. It becomes us and defines our ultimate definition of success! For those who are presently balanced enough to maintain the third method of creating their realities, i.e., the Law of Attraction combined with (3) visionary focus, we are the leaders of the pack, though most of us create our realities from a smattering of each perspective. Visionary focus requires a quiet and attentive nervous system aligned with Innate Intelligence for the purpose of creating realities in sync with a larger whole; ultimately driven by the quality of the visionary's "underlying quality of Intent" which is exponentially far more powerful than focus alone. (See VTAT, Chapter 9, Intent, pg 160) In other words, visionary focus catalyzed by unconditional love (nonresistance) creates realities that dovetail with the natural unfolding of the Universe for which synchronicities, serendipitous events and unexpected happenstance becomes the mainstay of one's existence*. Underlying Quality of Intent as a mechanism for summoning Innate Intelligence to your reality creation gives depth to your focus that could never be achieved if the mind was driving the focus. Focus (driven by our Underlying Quality of Intent) aligned with the myriad of ways Innate Intelligence brings solutions to our daily lives guides us utterly beyond what we could ever produce from our own linear perspective. (*VTAT, Chapter 9, Intent, pg 159) Learning to listen to Innate Intelligence in combination with a conscious use of the Law of Attraction powered by Underlying Quality of Intent, i.e., nonresistance, is well worth the time, effort and commitment and maybe best explains the title of my book:
The goal of the Science of Receptivity is to bring clients into sync with their cosmic connection by facilitating the removal of barriers (resistance) to their true identities; to deliver them to a solutions orientation – an orientation that is much more in keeping with the unfoldings of the Universe and Innate Intelligence expressing itself. The mission then, is to rapidly catalyze individuals into a tapping of their innate messaging system for which vast new worlds unfold just beyond the walls of resistance. It is in this refined connection with one's nervous system and newfound access to Innate Intelligence and basic principles of Universal Forces (Law of Attraction and Underlying Quality of Intent) that humanity – individually and collectively, begins the rapid ascent to its possibilities. To recognize that we are a part of the larger whole that becomes available simply by changing our mind and tweaking our nervous system is a powerful testament to our true nature. It is in the recognition of our oneness and connection with the Cosmos that we begin to thrive and move to a new level of success, sharing and conscious growth. There is also a mechanism that I call an "exponential multiplier" but that is the subject of another article. It is not such a bad place to be... Early in the planet's unfolding, part of the species beginning to get it right, discovering that by our own personal efforts to rise to the top, we contribute to the whole. The Squeaky Geek (continued) Don't let the newspaper headlines fool you. Corporations (a corporation is an artificial entity as is government) would prefer to you to live in a little box accepting crumbs from your handlers - at a pace of extracting profits that you can live with. There is an alternative and it is the natural evolution of the species. As humanity expands, its needs will be met, by a solution orientation in alignment with the Cosmos. By the way, if you choose to work with Skype, you will have to fiddle with it a bit to get it working at its best possibility because you will be practically on your own. If you are new, start with a digital microphone (USB port) and headset and after you become familiar with Skype, then add the USB Adapter to move to a traditional handset. Or give Vonage or one of the rest of them a try.. (I have heard it is hard to get out of a Vonage agreement, though..) Did I mention free video calling is part of this package between Skype users? Same thing with SightSpeed, but I much prefer Skype. I recommend Skype. They seem to be competent. If you could see just how fast the world is unfolding beyond the blaring headlines and racket of those who say it is so, your visionary focus would become second nature in no time. by J.Hamilton
Something else interesting. In the home page of VisionariesLab, several years ago, I wondered if starlight has any influence or guidance on life on this planet.. Not only is the movie Stardust quite interesting, Babylon Candles and all, but I recently ran into a phrase in Starseed Transmissions (featured in the last issue) that was curious.. "This and the direct assimilation of starlight are to be the mechanisms of eternal life.." --last chapter of Starseed Transmissions paragraph 18 Not a bad note to end on. Enjoy yourself. Two films this time. Sicko was powerful because it identified how very naive we are as a population believing the artificial entities are taking our best interests at heart and doing for us what we cannot do for ourselves. Michael Moore, while sensational (as we all should be) illustrates, in his own manner, the greed and avarice that powers America. Not really a good example of visionary work, because of its extensive reporting of the problem, but an interesting film anyway. And an interesting quote from Tony Benn, one of the longest running members of the UK's Parliament, sums it up..

Now, on to the good stuff! How many have seen "Stardust" and how many times have you seen it? I will admit to seeing it three times but I taped the dialogue the 2nd time because I heard so much interesting stuff. It opens with a query:
Symbolism is rampant with villager's living within a walled village with rumors of an extraordinary secret on the outside. Michelle Pfeiffer plays a witch (can't tell you if she is a good witch or not), and Robert De Niro plays a very unusual part.. Some of my interest was caught by the use of "Babylon Candles" as a method of traveling at the speed of candlelight.. Enjoy! |

And, then there is the
Did I mention the music?
It turns out we have a
very complex antenna system built right into our bodies which is made up of
the brain, spinal cord and miles and miles of nerves commonly known as the
human nervous system*. And while the human nervous system is somewhat
understood, in addition to being an internal messaging system for the
body, it is also an external messaging system for our connection with
Innate Intelligence; something every living thing possesses.
Another way to say it is
by our resistance "to the little things," we shut down our natural state of
communication with the big things! It is in our capacity to flow Innate
Intelligence into this dimension through the circuitry that is the human
nervous system that we may individually see "heaven on earth" in our
lifetime. 
Wish I could figure out how
to explain how fast things are moving.. Speaking of moving, I never
thought about my move, though I could feel it coming for about a year. And
then, suddenly one day it happened and I found myself on the sidewalks of
Santa Monica after returning my U-Haul truck. That was quite a surprise! The whole thing was
over and done in three weeks, including the
looking, finding a place and the actual move. All without a plan and
without much warning. What a
trip!
