Welcome,

This is our second eNewsletter and we have gotten some great feedback.  Thank you for your support and comments!  We would love to continue to hear from you.

I wanted to begin this issue with an idea.  Not just any old idea, but a great idea.  Something powerful enough to cause you to take pause; something useful enough and something so basic, you think, "Hmmm.."

There is a Calvin & Hobbs cartoon by Bill Watterson showing Calving playing in the woods, talking to his constant companion and affable stuffed tiger, Hobbs.  (Hobbs is as real to Calvin as Calvin is real to Hobbs when Calvin's parents aren't around.)  Calvin very wisely proclaims one day that "He is the end result of all of evolution. That he is it!"  Of course, the last part of the cartoon strip depicts Calvin and Hobbs sitting in front of the television laughing uncontrollably at Wascally Wabbit cartoons, etc., with little after-thought for his huge declaration and revelation.

But his point is well taken.  How many of us realize that we are the end result of far more choices than simply our own, or that so many of our thoughts and choices are unconscious?  We are the end result of the influences of our culture, the morays of our society, the upbringing and influence of family and friends, and even at that, we are still far more.  We are the end result of not only our parents, grandparents and great-grand parents, but our family lineage thousands of years back.  Are you aware that we have tails, gills, etc. during a certain portion of our gestation?  (Apparently, we go way back!)  Yes, our DNA comprises maybe half of our make-up and maybe half was acquired during the first six years of our life.  And then, we are on our own..

While this might be a bit of a surprise to recognize how very much of our personality, character flaws and useful attributes can be attributed to our lineage, what is important to recognize is that this is so.  And so the question becomes: "What do we do with what we have"?  Or, "How can we best use what we have been given"?  And, maybe all is not lost because we now have someone we can blame all of this on; someone long before us, though that is not quite the gist of this article. : )

Even wondered which part of you erupted when you flared into an unexpected emotional rage or generated a huge reaction caused by pure unadulterated fear or shock or anger for which you struck out or defended yourself in an unorthodox, unbecoming or even heroic manner?  Or the times you said no, when you wished you'd said yes?  Or, even more interesting, knowing that all of your fears are bottled up deep inside of you, capped at any cost - even the cost of an unwillingness to discover your true nature, i.e., your God-self?

And, while a huge part of society lives their lives in this bottled-up, unconscious, see-nothing, know-nothing mentality, help is on the way in the manner of emerging consciousness/technology that allows us to safely delve within and sort out our dysfunctional and reactionary inherited patterns and unconscious habits. Why?  Because we are moving beyond fear and merging into resonance and balance with a larger whole for which all kinds of new tools are becoming available - choice being one of them.  We, this generation, are the leading edge of consciousness and things are getting a great deal better.

There is a great use for being the end-result of all that has come before us, because there is another expression that goes something like, "The buck stops here."  What has always tied our ancestry together is fear, basic issues of safety, security and reactionary survival in very unforgiving times - and done so quite unconsciously.  Fear was harnessed to teach and imprint family or tribal members and eventually used as a tactical element against perceived enemies, etc.  And, the leading edge of slowly-emerging consciousness is changing the rules of survival.  Survival is moving toward and becoming identified as love and acceptance.

And, why would that be so?  A similar question might be: "What is the opposite of fear and anger and basic survival"?  The answer is unconditional love and acceptance of what goes on around us.  Ask any flower or apple tree or the moon or the stars.  They all share resources and co-exist and expand, and some even achieve extinction, but there is no resistance.  This is the natural state available to us as taught by the mystics, prophets and poets of our past.

So, what do we do with what we have?  And again, what is it we have?  We are the repository, the end-product of all of the survival instincts that have come before us.  We are the hatred, the anger, the knee-jerk reactions, unconscious resistance and just plain scared-to-death personas that have barely eked out a life, all bottled up inside of us at the cusp of the 21st century.  We are the vehicles of consciousness just beginning to peer out of our eyes.  We are the beginning of the end.  We are the end of the beginning of a species just beginning to peer out from underneath it's rock.  We are the end of the old ways of doing things.

What are we just in time for?  We are just in time to learn how to love our hate; to love the hate of others; to love our mistakes, our errors and to love what comes up for us, knowing that it serves us, and to love who and what we are becoming.  To love our parents, our families and to love each other and all the while, to love those in the Middle East, including the American soldiers, the protectors of their homelands, the insurgents, the mercenaries, the leaders, the enemies, the mangled families and even those at home who make choices based on reaction or greed or power or simple ignorance.  We each have it within us or it couldn't exist.  And, if it couldn't exist, it couldn't become better.

What can we, who know just a little bit better, as the carriers of the merest beginnings of consciousness, contribute?  Love those who know a little bit less.  Our function is to love those who make their choices by reaction and weave stories of survival, exaggeration and hatred to back up what they have unconsciously chosen.

How do we do it?  First we learn to love ourselves. We start when we catch ourselves grousing about somebody or something.  We start when we recognize our own patterns of judgment, criticism, cynicism and reaction.  And, we also love ourselves when we catch ourselves loving.  Secondly, we recognize that with the power of love, we can contribute something new to something old – something old but not as powerful as we might have thought.  We can contribute to what we know is true.  We can contribute what we know for others: that within each of them lies that still small spark, that still small voice that they, on their own, will someday come to hear and know.

According to Dr. David Hawkins and his Map of Consciousness, we are exponentially far more powerful in our love than those who hate or react in fear.  One person connected to Source is more powerful than one million who are not, according to Abraham of Abraham-Hicks.  And, if one million are unconscious and one is not, who really has the upper hand?  With the exponential multiplier of love and a million to one ratio, maybe we can become part of the solution much more quickly than we think.

The whole process of being a conscious creator is to understand the capacity we each have for transmuting the old patterns to something more useful through our gaze, grace and contribution.  To unconditionally love what we once hated, despised, judged or reacted to is to be the real power to make change.  And, it begins with ourselves and then each other.

When I start loving what I once hated, when I start loving what I once judged, when I start loving what once made me uncomfortable or made me angry or, .. Well, you get the idea..

Geeky Squeaky..  I am am bit of a geek, though, of course, I don't look like one.. : )  I write this corner because there are a number of people who are confused about downloads, attachments, emails addresses they are not familiar with, and overtly concerned about viruses and the like.  There are those who are so intimidated by viruses that they miss a great deal of what the computer and Internet are capable of offering..  Therefore, the Squeaky Geek..

While highly experienced users may have their own awareness of the issues, I highly recommend that anybody looking for advice use or migrate to Norton SystemWorks (NSW) and Norton Internet Security (NIS).  If you are still running Win98, Norton Internet Security seems to be a little too much for Win98; so instead just use Norton Anti-Virus and run a firewall - preferably Norton.  They all match up.

If you are running XP, I highly recommend NIS (comes with anti-virus) and NSW (order it without anti-virus).  These two programs working together can make a huge difference in the stability and protection of your computer.  And, frankly, if  you are running these programs and keeping them up to date (total cost about $100 sometimes heavily discounted at www.outpost.com), you do not have to worry about stray viruses, computer attacks, etc.   NSW is very important to computer stability and even on a new Dell just out of the box, will clear up about 80 errors.  Just make sure you set the the stuff up right and run NSW regularly.

As you can imagine, any fear-based reactionary perspective about your computer hobbles, not only you, but all of mankind..

By the way, did you know you could change the size of the text when using the Internet Explorer browser on the run?  Just hold down the Control Key and operate the scroll button on your mouse.

What's New?  This month we are going to do some exploring within the Vision- ariesLab website, discuss a recent past article titled "America's Most Valuable Resource," introduce Brain State Technologies and give a book or two away.  We are also wishing to develop a method of receiving questions from readers, so that we might start a discussion or two..  We have even decided to dedicate one corner of Vision to The Squeaky Geek for computer insight for those wishing to know a little bit more about computers, MP3 players, website's, newsletters, etc.

In the meantime: I have come across some very interesting information.  In my role as the follower of my nose/Innate Intelligence/Visionary aspects of my nature or maybe even better said, as a recipient of an intent larger than my own, I have met a very interesting gentleman by the name of Lee Gerdes who, as the CEO of Brain State Technologies, has developed brain state conditioning protocols that can alleviate fear and resistance patterns in the brain.  Another way to say it is, our brain, as  our most sophisticated organ - and the only one we are capable of having dominion over - is simply full of noise and static between the lobes and hemispheres.  Through the use of neurofeedback and intent and brilliant protocols developed by Lee, we can refine our habitual patterns (neural nets) for new clarity and results.

Imagine balancing the brain and achieving a 10 - 30 pt. improvement in IQ or revising a 1.8 grade point average to a 3.8 GPA or clearing the noise to better access Innate Intelligence?  Want to quit smoking or clear up an annoying or debilitating addiction or maybe meditate better?  Absolutely non-invasive.  For more information, go to:

Scottsdale Seminar with Lee Gerdes &

Professor Emeritus William  A. Tiller, Ph.D. in  May of '06

If you are familiar with the amazing film "What the Bleep!?" and its successor "Down the Rabbit Hole" you may be familiar with quantum physicist Dr. William A. Tiller  (www.tiller.org)  and his research.  This is one of the earliest announcements for a Friday evening Introductory Lecture and all-day seminar for these two gentlemen, dated May 19-20th in Scottsdale, Arizona.

We will release the details as soon as they become available.  You may request info/sign-up for this event at tiller-gerdes@visionarieslab.org.  Please let us know of your interest.  See below..

Exploring VisionariesLab

VisionariesLab is getting to be a pretty big site.  It is approximately 57 pages and still growing.  We will eventually discuss website construction for those who certainly ought to know how to publish their own website and numerous other topics, but first we want to introduce our own site so  you can get around in it a little bit better.  For example, did  you know that www.visionarieslab.com/Links.htm contains quite a menagerie of interesting links to the outside (inside?) world?  Some of my favorites include Ashes and Snow, a link showing somebody climbing through a plate glass window, a fetus grabbling a surgeon's finger, etc.  This link page also has links that are not accessible from anywhere else within VisionariesLab. You might see a special link for photos, jokes, what is called Part of the Problem, Part of the Solution and who knows what else..

PELAC (The Personal Empowerment Library of Ageless Classics) just arrived..

Suddenly, it showed up.  Boom!  One thing led to another and  late one night the Personal Empowerment Library of Ageless Classics became a reality!  We presently offer about 25 eBook volumes (we are slated for 50) including Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill,  As A Man Thinketh by James Allen, The Science of Mind by Earnest Holmes, numerous writings by Thoreau and Emerson, as well as many others, and featuring The Art of War by Sun Tsu, all in a downloadable, searchable format.

For example, many have not read The Art of War, in part, because of the difficulty of sorting it out.  I have made a few notes to allow one better access to this 2500 year old volume.  It offers, for example, "excellent advice" for taking diversionary advantage of your enemy when your enemy's camp catches fire, but mostly, it offers basic common sense for anyone studying success.  On the other hand, the world was built on diversionary warfare.  To understand the conquering mind is an important read.

Some of these older volumes lack a certain reading ease and therefore, require a bit of extra effort to discover their value.  Mastery of Self by Frank Channing Haddock is one such volume.  I had to dig my way through to find some of the very interesting nuggets written almost 100 years ago and  ran across an interesting remark about courage, to wit:

There are two kinds of courage:

The courage that dares and wins; and

The courage that smiles and receives

The Author's Corner

by J.Hamilton

While it was my original intent (there's that word again) to discuss my past article titled America's Most Important Natural Resource, instead I think I am going to use this space to mention an upcoming event.

Seminar with Dr. William A. Tiller and Lee Gerdes.  Lee likes to refer to himself as a geek and with degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Psychology and Theology, he may so qualify. J  His most recent work began when, as a product of very high states of creativity as a software designer and researcher, he discovered the associated lows that he termed melancholy.  It was in this research for understanding melancholy that he became interested in how the brain works.  Now-a-days, through neurofeedback and unique brain mapping, algorithms and protocols, he can help people resolve issues of drug addiction, ADD, ADHD, sleep disorders, anger, alcohol abuse, smoking, depression, weight gain and chronic fatigue to name a few - handling most of these issues well within 10 sessions or so.  Methamphetamine users and smokers alike, lose the urge after about four sessions. 10-20 sessions are optimum.  For More Info

Professor Emeritus William A. Tiller, Ph.D., one of the physicists in What the Bleep!? is spending quite a bit of his time researching the characteristics of intent as it relates to non-linear reality.  My book identifies Law of Attraction and what I termed "underlying quality of intent" as foundational to the reality creation process.  Dr. Tiller is investigating how intent interfaces with Universal Forces, which he calls the Void, for which reality is catalyzed.  Likely, the whole universe is powered by intent, as are we..

I have recently had the experience of being the recipient of someone else's intent, interfaced with Universal Forces for which I am driven to fulfill what has been requested.  I have, interestingly enough, become a cog in somebody else's reality creation.  I am contributing to an intent larger than my own(?) and the synchronicities are huge!  I talk about this in the last chapter of my book.  It is an exhilarating experience.

I was impressed with the film..

V For Vendetta.  This is a film stylized after a British comic book, but rousing in its success - unless you are a Bush supporter or you don't see films.  While the film put me off as it began, I discovered that it very well speaks to humanity at this particular day in time.  It takes place in future Great Britain, after the US has fallen, and exemplifies the linear reality progression

we are certainly marching toward.   (Of course, we all know that real reality creation has a huge non-linear and quantum aspect and that linear progressions offer little actual insight into our unfolding as a species.)

I haven't heard applause at the end of a film in a long time.  This film stars Natalie Portman and was written by the Wachowski brothers who wrote/directed The Matrix, etc.
