  • Life on Jupiter - American composer and musician Jens Nygaard
  • Star Dreams - Documentary on Crop Circles
  • Corporation - The nefarious nature of corporations
  • Fahrenheit 9/11  [2nd Link] - Bush family ties to Saudi wealth
  • Syriana - an excellent attempt at the subterfuge of power, money, the petroleum industry, the Middle East, etc.
  • Lord of War - a look at the source of trafficking of war munitions with an interesting ending..

More traditional story telling

  • Pay It Forward - a homework assignment ends up influencing the planet - Kevin Spacey
  • K-Pax - Insights of a traveler from another world - Kevin Spacey, see also Man Facing Southeast
  • Tin Cup - What's the good of doing it, other than for "going for it.." - Kevin Cosner
  • Amazing Grace and Chuck  we are all influential -
  • The Kid - Great story about growing up - Bruce Willis
  • O Brother, Where Art Thou? - funny and great music - George Clooney
  • Big Fish - wonderful story about a dad and his son. Highly recommended - Directed by Tim Burton
  • The Legend of Bagger Vance - almost profound.. - Will Smith
  • The Widow of St. Pierre - I think this film is profound.  A beautiful story of love and a model for men.. - Juliette Binoche
  • Reign Over Me - Very profound!  Adam Sandler (in a serious role as a father and husband losing his entire family to 9/11 and his friend's (Don Cheadle) willingness to help..  Powerful and Oscar material
  • The Last Mimzy  Unusual and very interesting science fiction.  The primary characters are two children that find something (from the future) on a beach shore..  Kids and adults will like this..
